Dem Rep Congo: cement price notes 10.6% drop in Kinshasa25 January 2016, Published under Cement NewsThe price of cement in the Kinshasa market experienced a -10.6 per cent fall. The price of a 50kg bag fell from CDF12,300 (US$13.34) to CDF11,000. The price fall is due to a combination of factors including the low activity on building sites, particularly following Christmas and New Year as well as a scarcity of bank notes in circulation. Normal sales of cement reach around 50-100 bags per day. |
